Relationship meme!

Rin was a rocky start he wasn't expecting, but he could understand that it was happening. The last time he saw Rin they were just kids and a lot can change in about 6 years. If you asked a younger him, he'd say Rin was his best friend. Now he'd probably say more like 'he's this amazing guy I knew. Thinking about that time is so nostalgic.'.

Right now though, Kisumi is willing to work on their friendship. He really has no issue with it since Rin use to be a good friend of his. Really it's all about reconnecting and hoping it all falls into place with the people they are now.

The relationship Rin has with Haru and Makoto doesn't surprise him as much as he feels it should have. He's spent so long dwelling in weird feels when he was a kid that this really feels like it's the most natural progression in the relationship he witnessed blooming. He did have some feelings issues along the way, but it didn't take much effort to put it all aside and move on.

So really in the end this calm indifference (Rin is nothing like that kid he knew so it's very simple for him to fall into it) with a willingness to become friends again.

Sousuke worries him always. Before he liked to just take the high road and think everything was okay, and then he got to camp and realized Sousuke is still the same as he always was. Of all his canonmates It's a toss up of if he feels more comfortable around Sousuke or Haru. All of the time they spend together now really helps that. Hanging out and just doing stupid things means a lot to him alone.

He also has this concern for the things Sousuke isn't saying, or anything he's keeping inside about Rin and his situation with Rin. Distracting him and being a friend again he can do, and it's so much easier with Sousuke than it has been with others. He figures it's because they've been friends for so long that they can just fall back onto it without a hitch. It's something that he really appreciates about being friends with him.

Now ... his flirtatious nature comes far too naturally. He doesn't realize a lot of it, but he is becoming more conscious of himself and the things he says or does because he doesn't want to make things awkward between them like he feels happened with Rin. It's like the "I don't want my overfriendliness to be the reason I lose someone important to me"

aaand sometimes it's like "Is he flirting? Sousuke doesn't do that. Why is everything strange and no one reviews words they speak before they speak them?"

But Sousuke is just always conflicted when it comes to Kisumi. On the one hand, he very much appreciates the distraction that Kisumi provides, because if there's anything that Kisumi excells at, it's at making himself the center attention. He's slowly getting readjusted to spending a good amount of time with him. They spend a lot of time together, what with being roomies and Sousuke teaching Kisumi to swim and Kisumi helping Sousuke with his PT, so Sousuke is finding himself with the energy to deal with him again.

At the same time, he doesn't like how tiring Kisumi can be, but he accepts that as just being friends with him. And he doesn't like some of the pushing that Kisumi does with his Things, but Sousuke is at least trying at being a bit more open about things and he needs that push! And he at least appreciates Kisumi will stop when Sousuke doesn't want to talk about things. It makes things comfortable, which is helped by how long they've known each other.

And... yes. He's flirting sometimes. He doesn't mean to! He's partly rebounding and Kisumi is a sort of comfortable presence. '-';;;

Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me? Don't you wish your girlfriend was a freak like me?

Makoto is still a very warm and nice presence, to him. Makoto never changes and that's just something very reassuring. The fact they're both doting older brothers and have been friends for so long, he's just someone very east to go back into being friends with. He's simple to talk and that's something great.

Since they had a head start canonly doing things together again and hanging out, it's less a push to restart things with him than it is the others. To him they got over that hurdle in that episode and Kisumi is bulldozing ahead with 'Makoto and I are friends'.

His relationship with Haru and Rin is no surprise and he's very supportive of the fact they're all together. He pretty much feels like it's something that has always been a thing and not just a 'we did it finally at camp'.

NAGISA IS LIKE THE LITTLE BROTHER MINI ME HE NEVER GOT. It's like a miracle and he's so happy to have met him. Kisumi is looking forward to spending more time with him and learning about each other.

Terrorizing the others with him will be great fun and he's looking forward to it.

He doesn't want Kisumi to feel left out because he is but one in a crowd of dumb swimming boys, so he'll make sure to involve him in other stuff, too. He had no idea what to expect but this is the Best Possible Kisumi he could have imagined. Partners in crime for sure. /o/

Haru continues to be the easiest person for Kisumi to talk to and rely on. They spent the most time together during school, and even if Haru has quiet, avoidant personality of his, he's learned a lot about him and is the most comfortable with him. The fact he treats him the way he does doesn't register anymore because it's Haru.

Even if Kisumi is a very touchy, feely, physical person, if Haru doesn't like it, it doesn't have an issue drawing it away. Haru should be comfortable and that's all Kisumi really wants. Having a little brother like Hayato does help him a lot with how to handle people and what to do in.

The relationship is the relationship. Haru is still one of his best friends. It's too late Haru, you can't escape. If he had to pick between you and Sousuke and he couldn't choose neither or get out of it? He'd probably choose Sousuke and make it up to Sousuke later.

THEY REALLY ARE WEIRD. They act like they've been friends for a while and Kisumi's overfriendly ways don't help that, but they did hit it off fairly well. Kouta's willingness to strip on command does help matters. Just saying.
